The Road To Tehran
On the 9th I remarked how “the administration”had upped the rhetoric and began fueling a very possible campaign against Iran.
Today, I had the displeasure of my observations being confirmed. Not only did Bush bring up the issue, Had made the beginnings of a deja-vu case against Iran. Obviously, originality is not one of their strong points.

Iran threatens world security
Obviously, the larger, the harder, the more often one repeats this, the more believable it is going to become. Sadly, anyone with a double-digit IQ will most probably end up chanting the phrase like a mantra,
Allow me to speculate on how the case will be made.
- A barrage of insubstantial rhetoric (an epidemic for the retarded)
- A highly dubious campaign where Bush will emphasize that the U.S cannot WIN (har) in Iraq if Iran keeps interfering.
- A staged atrocity
- A vicious propaganda campaign on the wings of renewed National Anger.
- A tactical Nuke (mini-nukes, whatever those are) campaign against military targets (anyone remember smart bombs? How did that turn out?)
- An uprising of resistance by Iran.
- Fear of counter-attack
- Full blown invasion
- The obvious
I don’t feel I need to justify these steps. After all. It’s happened before hasn’t it? Lets look at Iraq.
- Iraq was on the agenda BEFORE 9/11
- Insubstantial Rhetoric, and as George Galloway quite rightly pointed out (before and after) “A pack of lies”.
- A vicious Propaganda campaign
- Shock and Awe 3 day war (oh yea, that worked)
- An uprising of resistance (still labeled as Al-Qaida, even though the facts dictate they are mostly Home-grown)
- Fear of Civil War
- Full-blown invasion
- The obvious.
Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.
